135th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show

The 135th annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show took place just over two weeks ago. For the first time in the show's history, a Scottish Deerhound took best in show. Did you want to attend the show but couldn't make it? No worries - the highlights (and much more) have been featured by About.com Guide to Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Janet Crosby.

In her Westminster 2011 photo gallery, Dr. Crosby takes you on a full tour on the show, from in the ring to behind the scenes. It's the next best thing to being up close and in-person at the show. Possibly even more entertaining and educational is the photo gallery of Westminster 2011 Veterinary Professionals and Service Dogs, where you can learn the real-life stories of Westminster participants in the veterinary field as well as some wonderful tales about inspiring service dogs.

Did you attend Westminster 2011? If so, tell us about your experience.
